Cons: longer is not better offroad wise, harder to park, less miles to the gallon and slightly slower than the scab due to weight. Super Cab models have good rear-seat space, but the SuperCrew is your best bet if you want maximum room for passengers. For installing child safety seats in two-row F-150 models, there are two complete sets of LATCH connectors for the rear outboard seats and a tether anchor for the rear middle seat.

One of the advantages of the supercab is that the bank seat doesn't seem like a passenger area so it's much easier (psychologically) to use it to store gear. In my supercrew, I feel like I need to keep the back seats clear. It's also nice to have the suicide doors for quick access to the back of the cab vs the full doors on the screw.
Without being able to sit in a Ranger prior to ordering I was concerned the Ranger Super Crew would have dismal rear leg room and a 5' bed. So I went with the the Super Cab guaranteeing no rear leg room but having the 6' bed. Personally I just need some cab space to stow items.
